First official soccer match i NZ

okay this is a must blog.... i just played my1st official soccer match in NZ... woah... we won 5-1.....
now i jus need to train catches, high ball, diving...... to get back to where i was when i was with Arion man...... truth to be told i was not that fit as well when i was with Arion but at least i am a bit better then ah.....

haven been hanging much with Sam, Alicia, Steph.... cos the latter 2 have BFs now.... and i dun noe.. they dun ask mi to study with them...

i was supposed to study durin the hols but i have been watchin movies, tv shows.... arg.. this is so bad man..... haha.. gotta mug hard this three days.... for bio of cell test.. i wana pass with like 70%.... i can do it... on another note.... i gotta do a seminar.... truth to be told i hate doing seminars so i am jus goin to touch and go man.... so that i just pass.. the communication paper is a bore man... i hate seminars.. i hate talking bout stuff that is not related to animals... and i think i will say a lot of huh, yeah lah during seminar.. sucks.. dun even intend to practise man.. ujs go and chiong it out man....

hmm.. been spending lots of money on food... so now i decide now not to go grocery shopping till end of may.. cos technically i got food to last me till end of may maybe just the occasional buying of milk.... yeapso that i can save $$$.... haven decide whether i want to stay here during june hols or go some where man...

Life in NZ

So i have been in NZ for....18 days liao so far.. i am loving it man seriously... haha... its cold enough.. and since it is summer, the days are longer but it is going to become autumn soon.

Classes have started... so far still okay... bio a bit foreign to me but still okay lah i guess...
stayin in hostel so food wise still okay been having almost the same thing for breakfast : museli and whatever that is hot.. lunch is mostly instant noodles then dinner is catered also... food a bit salty for my taste but who cares.. as long as it is edible i have no qualms about it.

sleep wise still okay but i miss my bolster and it can get really cold at night.. eventhough i have close the big window and left the small one open.

the big problem is i miss going RFKW every week .. touching the rabbits, guinea pigs.... arg.... one year before i can see them....

on that note i do miss my parents and brother too man....

Friends in NZ... still making and finding but almost all the singaporeans here are either doing pre-vet or aviation so its a bit hard to make friends..... then those that i have jus made seems to be ignoring me man.. i have no idea why....

This is going to change man.... tml........!!!! i swear.. i am goin to make more friends and hang out more with people.. arg TML...... haha no labs tml.. i am so glad.......

wahaha i decide to write my blog like now...
cos yesterday 24/11/2009 something nice happened to me...
so i gave up a day of work taking no pay leave lah...
but i meet lotsa of ppl talk more bout ZOO and BIRD PARK programme - pre school...
i met ella, a male umbrella cockatoo who is super duper cute... he can say hello and i love you but not on cue... he is jus super cute haha
den bit bit the rabbie, a royal python, the giant milipede, hissing cockroach, my frends the stick insect.... and
also the ZOO and bird park ppl, heather, june, maggie, amberly, june's boss May....
other CAs like wanxuan and byrant from bird park....
so fun okay....cos got to meet ppl of same interest...
ella was afraid of the royal python that he came out of his enclosure and he dare no go on june's hand after june touch the snake, what a smart bird....

Updates yo…
Okay I have got lots of things to say.. Almost bubbling to excitement… cos it’s another 92 days before I fly off to NZ… to start school..
First off.. if you do not know yet.. I finished Night Safari Training for CA liao and I have done 4 duties so far…
Being a Night Safari CA is way way different from Zoo CA.
1. Zoo is in the morning, NS is at night…. So the timing is kinda weird… and NS duty is on fri and sat nites while zoo duty is sat and sun morning…..
2. You can see all the zoo animals by walking the trails but in order to see the NS animals you have to take tram and walk the trail so you will pay a bit more.
3. Zoo has longer opening hrs than NS, so can explore more and easier to take photos.
By being a CA, I have learnt a lot from the visitors because different visitors will ask different questions and from these questions I can grow to be a better CA… arg... I so love being a CA... It’s fun, exciting, enriching. Now this leads to bat event, okay i was there for almost the whole of bat event... lolz 4 days + 1 duty.....
Bat Event(Halloween at NS)
First time i spent that much time at Night Safari, i can only remember coming to NS once as a kid and tat was a really faint memory. Okay Bat Event was held over three Fri and Sat night starting from 16 OCT to 31 OCT. We attended training on either 2/3, well i choose 2rd cos str8 after work can go no need to wait lolz and i had a match on 3rd. 2nd Oct had Ferania, Jia Qi,Seck Cher, Nicole, Celine, Chen Wei and many others that i cannot remember haha. First Day of Bat Event erm.... i can only remember going there early to help June out to set up and stuff. Stephanie was there too. Erm, we sat the ZOO GOES TO SCHOOL van (education) into Night Safari, i did not know Stephanie was in the back until we reach East Lodge when she ask June to open the back for her..lolz, den we set up and then the two of out hang ard East Lodge while June went to fetch the rest in... lolz she send us a msg not to go see the real things.erm well i was station at the stick insect(bat diet) with yong hong. The only thing i can remember was that i did a lot of tattoos lolz.. crazy kid.. Me and edna help June to pack up, was quite late that night then she send us back.did not went on Sat(17th Oct). 2nd week of Bat Event at the same station, lolz play with stick insect scared Stephanie, the usual help June pack up, meet June frend Wan Ru as well haha... then Sat Ferania was there haha so at least i could spam with Ferania... lolz same old same old....Last weekend almost the same as the previous 2 except there were more teenagers than kids so end up tattoo stationmuch busier than games station and game station could close early(hint hint). Fri i did origami with Nina, Sat game game station. Well the time i spend for bat event i guess was well worth it man , cause i got to interact with visitors, fellow CAs, June and jus hang ard NS. Learn loads of kewl stuff too bout ppl, ZOO, NS. It was fun the rides on the buggy through NS and ZOO, the van too was nice haha i guess.... chatting with June bout Zoo stuff. Hope that whichever path she chooses is the right one for her.Truthfully, i am thankful for the chance that i get to spend here with fellow CAs before i live for NZ, the time was invaluable man.
I am gonna sign up for Rainforest Kidzworld training.. haha and finish all 6 duties b4 i leave for NZ. I am gonna misss Night Safari, Zoo, CAs... arg.......last chance to interact man.. den when i come back for hols i will do duties.. whaahahaha......what can i say i am animal crazy.....
Today i went for FTT.... and i pass after like i dun noe.. this is the 3rd attempt... third time lucky i guess.. haha wah hope i can get license soon den i can drive woot woot. Other than tat nothing much just counting down to flyin off man but it does mean:

13 more weeks of training with Arion peeps, 13 weeks to hang out with ST/TOP ppl, 13 weeks to hang out with CAs, hang out in ZOO and NIGHT SAFARI, less than 10 weeks to get license, 13 weeks to hang out with families and frends, etc

I am looking forward to exploring Wellington, Palmerston North, Acing my degree, working in ZOO when i come back........

Warning: this is gonna be a damn long post... cuase i realized i haven update for two to three months.... oppos...

Should where should i start??

End of May : Let's see I went for training to be a zoo volunteer and i met quite a few nice and super duper smart ppl like yi chian, fabia, steffi, jeanette. So zoo training training was fun and i am officially a Zoo CA.. got the green shirt, can go zoo for free but now too sian and damn lazy to go. And i finally heard form Massey.. they accepted me.. i can go in July ( due to visa cock up, i am goin in Feb ) so high pls... Massey dream course dream place away form home away... new friends new environment not that i will forget those that were with me through thick and thin.

June: more work , more stress as i rush to settle visa, medical clearance, police clearance.. sian half alreadi lor.. so long to get this things done man.. its like so much things to do but so little time... June is also the time where we (cute gal, WY,YX) are slowly waning ourselves from ST as they start skool.... they all studyin in NTU/ NUS Singapore sysytem is not for me man.. i wan a life that is not so pacy....

July : haha this is gonna be more up to date as it is still happening .

So it is confirmed that i am goin to start skool next year as visa cannot come out in time.... tat means i need to work more to earn more money..., get driving license... now now now.... hmm other than that i have join a youth soccer club.... Arion Women Football Club, playing as keeper.. shocking right when last time i don't really like goal keeping...

JUly is not yet half over but we have alreadi been out to eat more than twice.. with more scheduled lor pro planner Cute Gal.... done Botak done Popeyes

Oh yeah i finally met up with Joker CLub ppl after like eons.. we ate MFM ( Manhattan Fish MArket) with the exception of Josh stuck in OCS and Sling... Ah meng broke his leg while parachuting.. but we had fun... we ate MFM den went ice monster to eat and play Ds cos Alvin loan us two Ds so we could play 4 player.. Mario Kart was super fun.. i wan PSP.. DS.... and new phone = need more $$$...

been eating beancurd alot too this few months.. lolz th-ing...

I cannot wait for Visa to arrive MASSEY UNI i wan be there.. faster...

the hot weather these few days is making mi feel like puking.....+ i cannot sleep at nite.. dun feel like eatin as well... am super worried as well... 1 month has pass but no news from them guess iwll not be heading there..... i mean i dun care if i start in 2010 feb or 2009 junly as long as i can study that course i am okay...reali wan to study at least i can be away from these dreadful weather.....

Sorries for not updating but i dun think anyones' reading this so this is more of like a journal to myself.....

its been bout a month since i got my results, not fanastic but its gd enough for me i guess.... so afraid of failing or even passin with all Es i know i won't get As or Bs, so now you roughly guess my grades.. applied to NUS FASS, NTU, SIM, SMU, doubt i will get in NUS and NTU if i get in SMU i don't know whether i want it a not.. UniSim might be able to get it most likely but where i want to go is Massey Uni to study Zoology...... yeah.... the past month has been me against the parental unit whether should i go , i applied already so it takes about 1 month to know whether i can go a not which is three weeks left from today and i still have to convinved them to let me go... in my mind my dad is 3/4 way to letting me go except for $$$$ issuses, mom is well harder to convince but frankly i dun reali like continuing to study in SG cos i dun think it suits me.. but well thats me.... maybe if i get gd grades for zoology i can transfer to vet sci??/ wish long long....

i am also learning driving, stalled the car twice for first lesson now waiting for 2nd lesson which will be next week.. wait and see how it goes.

work has been gd so far.... i like to work there, the environment is nice ppl are nice , what more can you ask for???

been to twk's POP... drew and the rest enlisting soon soooo sad we gonna be split up... i guess the ones who i would miss most would be them if i go NZ....

den sat went for cdc raining yea cdc training roc.... got a few mjc players came and play and it was so freaking fun haha... learn new stuff but sad that liza and nina not coachin us, they got their own training... league training.... so lucky nvr get injured.. after training dad came and fetch mi den go home lor and pig out cos dad company afternoon got celebration den he da pao so we jus ate a bit of that food... den we went out to eat cos mi mum's sis hubby treatin us cos he past year spent lots of months in brazil.. wana him to buy the havaians slipper and bring back choco.. haha.. den later we send mi big auntie and mi cousin bf home haha.. reach home at bout 12

sun big day....woke up bout 7 + den dad sent mi to nus cos ijc playin in competition..... yea saw sherlyn there too but she restricted by coach so cannot play think nyjc reali suffer becos of that yea and den nus team damn strong lah.. but we draw with them so lucky... got one or 2 team damn lucky to make it to next round which we did not but we still happy cos without a coach we still manage to draw on our thee matches, 0--0, 1-1,0-0... yea is i score the goal one from free kick... yea i was like so scared it nvr went in den when it went in i was like doin the flyin thing lor so happy.. score 1st freekick in competiion... reali motivate mi to do better.... but but but... my dear player... krystal sprain her ankle durin warm up den i so worried for her haha... yea i veri concerned bout my juniors one reali hope she get well.... haha.. i even ask to sms after she reach home and after she went to see the doctor cos her parent s not in singapore... so worried when i sms her at 8+ at nite den she nvr ans , onli ans at 11+ haha next day in school mi wana kill her liao but she not in skool.....yea i noe i like moher hen like tis but yeah lah they all my juniors lor .... dun take care of them ..... not senior liao lah..... yea hope she get well soon.. go kyrstal.... hAHA get well soon

haha it has been a long time since i have blogged.. think my blog has died... haha.....
went chinese new year jus came and past.
me been munching too much on new year goodies so right now sick haha.. haven collected all my ang baos yet too....

last week , day b4 eve of chinese new year.. what did i do??? haha was bored after the stupid assembly.. can u imagine stay in skool till like 1240 but no concert.. was a freaking waste of time man ... after tat wanted to go eat boon lay nasi lemak and play cards with SG and xian but kit not around.. we loiter around den decided to go take kfc wer we saw alex(xander) and bk.... haha.. den later when we eatin bk when to change and alex came and sit wif us and we played cards till bk came out of toilet half an hr later.... den we pay bk to orchard wer we spent like 1 hr in cathy sittin in the apple store watchin movie trailers.. haha... so weird... 5 innova ppls in apple doin nothin watchin trailers onli.... den later bk wana go plaza sing so we all bring xander go chinatown to cc look...... we tried him eat ba gua and other stuff but he say he stomach upset den dun wana eat.. funny free food also turn away... unlike singaporeans free means take more....haha den e weather a bit crazy one suddenly heavy downpour when we eatin german sausage yea so we seat around for awhile den decide to walk in the rain .. xander was so comical.. lah... use umbrellas.. we nvr use cover den SG reali funny went to play wif the water cos so funny den we stay until 7 like tat lor.. haha got pics of that days but xander haven sent me yet so when he does i will post.... p.s. haha.... it finally dawn upon mi today that yeah..... we live in the same world but the disparity between each individual is so freaking great...... i am not saying that you or they are not happy with it.... but the differences are just so great so big, you can just feel the gap... nope it is not me going crazy....... haha... within singapore itself , you can see the stark difference what more out of Singapore.... poverty a great issue within the world but is it gonna be solve with the sysytem of the indian that won the nobl prize.... are we gonna achieve more with the new UNSG..... is his policies gonna make a difference. Actually tis is something i wrote for my god bro a long time ago when he was feelin down.. so yea jus put here for fun.....................

Life to me is a world of darkness.......it is an empty void nothing much. in tis world of darkness, everithing is dark, there is no light, no sun......u can only hear,feel,smell,taste but not see.....there is no such thing as lights in my dictionary and there will nvr b........darkness is always within..........................................

Darkness can onli b a measure of how much and wat i feel but it can nvr b e measure of e anger or sadness inside mi...4 its onli those whu have gone through will understand wat i am feelin......my mind is swirlin lyk a tornado and will nvr cease for it keeps throbbin, remindin mi of e past...e quarrels, emotion breakdowns............

okay.. left a few more days to christmas....and here i wish u guys merry xmas........
update u guys on conqueronline.... i am now lvl 85 jus 45 more lvls to rb and i lam loving it..... tis is my thinking everi week lvl 2 times at least so one month 8 times * 3 it would be 24 lvls.... tat makes it lvl 110 by end of march.........

haha okay since i jus started this blog sime post are gonna be bout last time and this is one of them

Vietnam

i am gonna talk about vietnam....... so beware

the day finally arrived after days and days of hardwork, planning and shifting, collecting and shit jobs..... yea finally on the plane to hanoi,vietnam, nothing compares to it then the satifaction........

reached hanoi in a state of euphorea, happy more than anything ... met a fewe peeps from hello hanoi, got to noe them for the afternoon cos they brought us around old quarter and the french prisoner... den it was off to dinner at Nisa restuarant den to the train station where we boarded a overnite train to Sapa..... yeap slept on the train and boy was it fun...... nothing beats going round the curve and the sound of the train wheels were like lullbaby cooing us to sleep. reached Sapa at six plus, energised not much....... we were met by our guide and yea we went to our hotel first and ate a wonderful breakfast there. Then we moved on to Ta Van where we were given a grand welcome, then a speech by teachers on both side and then a performance by the local students, then it was back to the hotel for check in then back to the school for afternoon construction work...... the nite asd usual was spend doin evaluaiton and plannign for the next day......

Sat... the day we did construction work in the morning and then we got to ionteract with the kids in the afternoon teaching them art and craft for my group and english for the other group. What we did for art and craft was to do sexy caterpillar which was to piant egg trays ....... yeap it was so fun and we end up face paintin.... got a vietnam flag on my face... haha....... damn nice too... got a new friend named Si... yea a 13 yr old girl... who noes a bit of english.......... she really lived up to sharing is caring... she shared her box of colour pencils with the rest of the class.... so touching...... one image that i will remember for life...... Si...........

Sun... we went to Ba Hac market to do shoppin, plannin...... and all the neccessary stuff got to sample local food too..... den we visited a local lady house..... took more pics of local kids ..... alll in alll had more and more fun.....and.....i had a super birthday....... had a three tier cake like those in weddings and yeap was shocked to the core... so many people celebratin my birthday wif mi......weend up eatin the largest cake and i kept the medium cake for the kids at the skool..... yeap loved them to pieces... they are what we are...

Mon-Wed......

did the same things morening construction and afternnon interaction with the kids ........ did drawings , ballon sculphtering wif them,origami.... yeap and played dog and bone wif them, captain ball........... lots of other games....... build even closer bonds with the kids there....... wed si was not there..... real sad but there were other kids around to cheer mi up......... and yeap had a lot of fun with them.........learn lots of vietnamese along the way.........

Thurs.....

today last the day wif the kids......... real sad...... did our performance for them... and vice versa..... treated them to the food we made..... yeap...... even drank fruit wine..... but at the end... we were all in tears..... tears that represent the bond, the friendship we built up with each other...... it was like a cryin parade ...... weapin and cryin...... we were walkin..., cryin all the way to the bus and after the final farewell i ended cryin on the way back to the hotel............ guess many of us were but.... i will never forget the faces of those kids and the promise i made to Si

I will be back in Ta Van within 10 yrs.

tis is wherei will stop cause the rest of the vietnam trip is not really worth metioning.... wat was worth was the time, the bond and the sweat we spend with the kids which will be remember for life.............look at the pics which i post in album and you will understand.

New Year's Eve at Andrew's house

First time goin to drew's house never been there before since he shift house.
hmm party suppose to start at 7, i reached at 7.40ish and i am the third to arrive.. waited till nine plus for the rest of the LOSERS.........(jus kiddin) to arrive. but too bad we started to eat b4 LX and YX arrived cos YX and LX had to work and LX jsu decided to go drew's house. Even though we were all suppose to bring food, some of us did not but it did not matter cos the food was too much!!!! lolz cannot finish the turkey.We spent the rest of the time playin twister, PS3, Wii, taboo, watch movies.. so much fun. i think the lamest part was the countdown..we switch on tv durin the last 7 minutes and when it was New Year, we jus cheered nothin much abit anti - climax.. haha.... den it was play play play time until 2+ some ppl started fallin asleep and one by one everyone KO until left me and drew and we play rock band until he was tired and i watch Batman till six plus den play rock band till 8+ den asri wake up and we watch Mummy till bout 10+, 11. After that we went White Sands to take brunch and home sweet home....

Best of 2008
1) "Da Clique" - well what can i say.... the nine of us have weather through everything.. the ups and the downs, being called Joker Club by Ms Lee, scorned by others in the class but who cares. I am really grateful to the powers above for letting me know you guys: wai kit, yu xian, n-drew, sling,asri,meng chin, josh, hafeez. I will never regret the times that we were always if not most of the time late for lectures(haha), the times where we get so engrossed playin thumb games, mind games until we were so loud the whole canteen looked at us, decidin who would clear the plates, the outins: trips to chomp chomp, durain-ing, buyin pressies for ppl, esplanade jump shots, etc.The fours of us wk,yx,drew, moi are a damn assed tight closed bunch and i hope we stay tat way through life. As for mc, asri, sling, josh, hafeez, well we reali got together onli in j2 but the times we had were fun, and we JC must remain together 4eva.
2) a division & soccer captain - i am happy to be able to play in the a division though not as my preferred position but all for the team sake, one for all, all for one( but do they have this mentality?) But i am gald for the two years of a div and the times that i spent training, playin,the ppl that i meet through soccer : hannah, abi,syi,lia,yus,afi,ellysa,di,ash( j2s), sky,winnie,nad,carol,farah, well all the j1s. I am also grateful that i get to work with Mr Koh, Ms Leong, Ms Ashley( you owe me and sarah something) though sometimes we clash over ideas and thing may not turn out the way we wanted. As a captain, i know i put in my best but the best was never enough but i am truly glad for the chance to be able to wear that band and carry the responsibilities on my shoulder.
3) IJC - it has been a long and tough three years but finally it is over..... first year wasn't that great but the next two years were A..awesome because of the friends and company that i made.

Sarah - haha history buddy and muggin frend, first year we were not reali frends but we got close durin the second year. it was nice meetin you, sharin all the muji stuff buyin them for you...

Alexander - great lame guy from germany , onli stayed here durin year one but had a great time wif him though sometimes hard to understand, antics damn funny too.reali miss him.

4) end of A's - finally it is over..... nothing more nothing less
5) Genting - haha finally goin genting after so long and goin wif so much fun ppl, playin indian poker with forfeits(drink loads of water), guessing game, playing cards and having that cursed diamond two keep appearing. goin to the theme park( 1st time) if you dun noe.. lolz,eatin the buffet ( so fat), eat weird ice creams, eatin Mary Brown,Kenny Roger's, playin pool,bowling.
6) nike human race + blg - tis is the best or one of the best i guess.. caannot believe that i meet them arg... martin is so cute and handsome so is paul.. heehee so lucky that i gotta the chance to meet them and get a signed album.. i think they are in my top ten bands.. seein the runners run also made me feel like running.. i guess that i am still in denial that i meet them..
7) fahrenheit concert - okay gotta admit i am not a person who listen to chines band more of a potato haha but the concert was good.... maybe becos all the guys were sooooooooooo handsome but i love ti amo the most ..

hmm.. first post..... i don't really know what to say.
Well adptly said, this first post is to coincide with well the New Year of 2009, hope that well things will go well in the New Year but well not really so.... not going to harp on it....
